The suite was comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchenette was very handy and well put together. Our room location of on water was wondeful. We enjoyed the clean pool and the quiet of the whole resort. Our breakfast waitress was excellent and friendly. When I went over to the main lodge in the evening, an employee gladly gave me to extra pillows.
I chose the wrong time of year due to so many mosquitoes. It is just what happens in the Everglades at this time. The hotel breakfast was good but a little pricey for what you received.
Good location, near Everglades. Nice pool.
Rather quiet, restaurant closed, because we were there off-season (May)
Good Access and Location
I did not like the difference in the actual hotel from its description on the web site.
The hotel foyer was used by a group for their annual meeting !!!! Lots of noise fo the people placed in the superior rooms ! After the check-inn we were told that the restaurant was closed this evening, due to a reception that would take place. Everglades city however , would only be only 13 miles away and would offer 14 restaurants !!!! Breakfast in the morning was then servered solely on plastic plates and cups..no tables were set up or any thing else prepared. Coffee was simply not drinkable
Very nice environment. Nice hotel. Nice room with excellent beds. Fridge and micro in room. Friendly staff. Breakfast OK with the best ever Florida orange juice. Lots of parking space.
Restaurant with tiny menu and probably understaffed because of long wait after order.
The room is wel equipped and very clean
Located in a great location to everglades and on the water for boating and fishing. Food was also great.
It is great! We call it our hide-a-way place! If you are looking for a place that is nice, well priced, and clean without crowds.... This is the place!
Others complain this hotel has nothing around nearby like restaurants, stores, activites, etc (not me). You have to know what you want in a hotel. If you like seclusion, peace, quiet, water, and boats. This could be the place for you.
The hotel reception desk was closed at 5pm, the room keys were in a lock-box (i didn't have a code and had to call the emergency number) The room (unit) i was assigned was occupied by a permanent resident, a friendly maintenance guy form the hotel helped me with the correct room and new keys. The rooms are located in small camp-site buildings, with a small screened porch in front, didn't look very nicely. The hotel didn't offer any food, also in the area there was nothing to eat, had to drive back to Naples (15 miles) to have dinner. On our way back we purchased breakfast for the next day.
